BORING BIT.........IF I WERE YOU I'D GO BACK TO A MORE INTERESTING PAGE. THIS IS JUST SOME PERSONAL HISTORY ON THE FAMILY THAT ARE AFFECTIONATELY KNOWN IN DRAG RACING CIRCLES AS 'THE WALTONS'

Trevor has always been a petrol head. Not many people end up doing what they dreamed of as a kid, but Trevor is lucky enough that he has.

From an apprenticeship with 'prestige' cars in the 1970's to the present day he has always worked in the motor trade. Through 'normal' franchise garages, racing teams, restoration workshops, prototype development and a bit of OEM diagnostic development. Trevor is now heavily involved with Surrey Mustang .Com, so still working with American V8's.  It's been a good life!

Luckily enough, Trevor has been supported in all of this by:

JANET - loving wife, and mother to their two daughters.

Janet is a qualified child-minder, but has spent most of her working life in retail. J. Sainsbury's have Janet to thank for running one of their customer services departments, and achieveing higher customer satisfaction targets than anyone else in the group.

She now spends her time in retail on a less-stressful level.  She has also been involved with cars from a very early age and enjoys driving fast (The three pedals are: Footrest, Footrest, Switch!). Unfortunately her licence and cheque-book DON'T enjoy her driving fast!

MARIE - eldest daughter.

Marie is a qualified hairdresser, but has successfully held jobs in banking and finance, and now manages sites for the Met Office.

Similarly enthusiastic about cars and driving fast, she enjoys her Mustang Rag-top on sunny days, but has to put up with the whistle from the turbo on her Mondeo during the English winter (that's about ten months isn't it?)

BRIAN - Marie's 'Partner' (aren't you married yet?)

Bri has been a member of the family for about 14 years. He works as a freight-forwarder, and ships exciting things all over the world. He's helped in the car build so much thanks to cheap-import of parts through his many contacts.

Petrol head? - You bet! Big-Block manual '67 fastback  Mustang sat in the garage attests  to that!

ELEANOR - Youngest sprog

Has been racing since she was a babe in arms. Drag and circuit, we've got photos of her in her pram at all sorts of meetings. She worked in retail after leaving school, but soon looked for new horizons. Arranging fleet hire for Enterprise Rent-a-Car helped, but now she works as a legal secretary in the litigation area.

Been crawling around cars since she could crawl. Raced the Escort a few times. Terrorises the roads of Great Britain with a chipped Nissan GT and a Honda CBR 600.

Are an MOT testing station and car repair workshop. We've done business with TJ's for years, and the keep all of the Kitney cars in MOT's including the Escort. They also supply tyres at very competitive rates.
